DUNCAN FERRIER

Duncan holds BA and LLB degrees from the University of Canterbury and an LLM (Hons) from Victoria University of Wellington. He has been a barrister sole since 2007.

Duncan's practice incorporates a broad range of civil and public law litigation issues. His particular focus is on matters of transport regulation, liability and accident-related litigation. Duncan acts for a wide variety of public and private sector entities, including local authorities and crown entities, airports, insurers and other participants within the aviation and maritime industries, both in New Zealand and overseas. He regularly acts for the New Zealand aviation and maritime regulatory entities, and has provided in-house legal services to both of these organisations.
